I don’t really update my twitter much, but in recent weeks I have been planning to get more into it and be an active member. In spirit of this I have decided to hold a contest and give away a few gadgets I have lying around that I never used. Lately I have seen many people hold contests and such in order to give away gadgets in return of reaching a certain number of followers; Sitepoint even gave away a free CSS e-book to every one who followed them on a certain day. Money Can't Buy Happiness

Money is a very interesting object. It refers to the system we have in place that regulates trade throughout the world-wide economy. People do foolish things for money, therefore the phrase “Money can’t buy happiness” came into existence. This statement has been spoken to me numerous times in my life, by many different people. I have asked each and everyone of these people to prove or explain in detail what the statement really means. Not one of these people have had a solid explanation or reasoning behind their statement. This has compelled me to explore the relationship between money and happiness.

The Black Card, Largest Heist in Credit Card History?

It is final. In this economic downturn, Visa seeks desperation and joins Barclay’s Bank of Delaware to officially steal American Express’s thunder. The brand which many individuals familiar with pop culture and exquisite tastes have learned to admire– “The Black Card,” has been stolen by Visa. It is obvious that Visa wanted its share of the high roller spending tab, but this is more shameful than brilliant.

“The whole purpose of this card is to take share from American Express,” said James McCarthy, Visa senior vice president for consumer-credit products.

Apple's trying to be bigger than they should be.

Apple is definitely limiting the number of iPhones being sold today. Many of the moves they are making seem quite shady to me and are most likely planned to take advantage of many of us first movers. Why are they doing this? [click to continue…]
